El brote de coronavirus ya llegó a Sudamérica y en la selección chilena están alerta. Esto considerando que a fines de marzo arrancarán las Clasificatorias para el Mundial de Qatar 2022, donde la Roja visitará a Uruguay (26) y el 31 recibirá a Colombia.

Ante ese escenario, el gerente de selecciones de la ANFP, Ian Mac-Niven, entregó detalles de las medidas que se tomarán de cara a las dos primeras fechas del proceso eliminatorio.

Santiago, 09 de Marzo de 2020.  La Seleccionada nacional Valentina Ríos, cierra un domingo memorable en la ciudad de Lima, tras vencer en la final a la número uno de Brasil Laura Watanabe.

La chilena Valentina Ríos se impuso por 4-2 con parciales de -10, -13, 9, 6, 6, 5  a la primera  cabeza de serie la brasileña Laura Watanabe en la final del Sudamericano Juvenil, para convertirse en la nueva reina de Sudamérica.

Valentina, segunda cabeza de serie en la ronda de octavos de final se impuso a Diniva Ding, de Argentina por 4-1, en cuartos de final a Mylena Plaza, de Ecuador por 4-0, en  semifinal Livia Lima, de Brasil por 4-3 y  el  final a la  también  brasileña Laura Watanabe por 4-2. En tanto, los terceros puestos fueron  para Livia Lima, de Brasil y Alejandra Alzate  de Colombia.

Este 8 de marzo se conmemora el Día Internacional de la Mujer; en la búsqueda de la igualdad y de la no discriminación hacia el género la Corporación Cultural Municipal ha preparado una programación que invita a dialogar y a reflexionar sobre esta importante temática.

La Plaza de Armas de Ovalle se convirtió nuevamente en el punto de encuentro de la ciudadanía cultural, esta vez para inaugurar la 32° Feria del Libro de Ovalle, organizada por la Ilustre Municipalidad de Ovalle, a través de su Corporación Cultural, con el apoyo del Concejo Municipal.

En la oportunidad escritores, artistas, gestores culturales y la comunidad en general recorrieron los 15 stands de editoriales regionales y nacionales dispuestos a lo largo de la Plaza de Armas, los cuales permanecerán en el lugar todos los días de feria desde las 10:00 hasta las 22:00 horas, convirtiéndose en un excelente panorama y una excelente opción para potenciar la lectura, tomando en cuenta la gran variedad de libros y autores disponibles.

En la oportunidad el director ejecutivo de la Corporación Cultural Municipal de Ovalle, Ifman Huerta, invitó a toda la comunidad a ser parte del certamen literario que “como ya es costumbre, año tras año, realizamos a fin de encontrarnos y reflexionar en torno a la literatura y las diversas manifestaciones artísticas. Es por ello que durante estos nueve días de feria contamos con una nutrida y variada parrilla programática que contempla las presentaciones de libro tanto de escritores  regionales como nacionales, interesantes conversatorios y presentaciones artísticas cada noche como cuentacuentos, lecturas dramatizadas y presentaciones de bandas musicales locales, regionales y consagrados artistas nacionales”.

De igual forma destacó que nuestros niños son parte importante en esta Feria y es por ello que “contaremos con un Rincón Infantil, donde  no sólo fomentaremos la lectura y la escritura sino la creación artística a través de diversos talleres como confección y animación de títeres, creación de microcuentos, de máscaras selknam, trabajos en greda entre otros”.
